At Ashford Oaks, we believe we are an integral part of the wider community where we are, and we reach out to the community in various ways to engage with people to educate, to bring people closer, to collaborate, and to foster a more harmonious community.
Every term, parents meet to share ideas about our school community with members of staff. All parents/carers are welcome. The Parents' Voice also lead on our Christmas and Summer Fayres.
Getting Along Together
Do you sometimes feel that you struggle as a parent and that your children don’t take any notice of you? Do you wish that you had answers to your questions as a parent?
Here at Ashford Oaks, the Pastoral Support Team run our ‘Getting Along Together’ group. It is structured around the successful ‘Solihull’ parenting approach. The group meets one day a week for 10 weeks between 9am and 11am, in the community room.
Ashford Oaks works closely with other schools in Ashford area, which is collectively called C.A.T.S. (Central Ashford Town Schools).
You can book our Main Hall in the evenings for a variety of Community events or clubs. Please contact our Finance Department on to find out more.
We use our Community Room to run other courses for the community. Recent courses included a cookery and nutrition course and also a basic first aid course.
Courses are advertised in our newletters and are run on an on-demand and first-come-first-served basis.
