Welcome to the Ashford Oaks. Through these pages of the website you will discover the inclusive, and remarkable school, Ashford Oaks Primary School is.
Part of the role of the Governing Board is to ensure that the school provides a first class education for our children. The governors monitor the performance of the school on multiple levels and across the broad spectrum of the curriculum, determining, with the senior leadership team, the ethos and direction the school will take with the intention of providing a world class education.
Governors are made up of staff, parents and community members, who have in common, a desire to provide the best education possible for our children. We come from a variety of backgrounds bringing different qualities to the school, to support and challenge the senior leadership team. We are always interested in your views too, so do engage with us either directly if you see us or by email (see below), or via the school office.
The pandemic has obviously impacted all schools, but how we have reacted to these challenges has shaped the direction the school has taken and recognised by Ofsted’s recent inspection as Good with Outstanding features – Congratulations to all the staff and children at the school for securing this.
We look forward to this year being an even better year. As ever we want to offer our children more opportunity and potential. With this in mind the school has acquired two new minibuses, enabling visits and inclusion in cultural, sporting and community activities.
